Alex qualified as an RVN in 2018 and worked in general practice in Glasgow for 6 years before moving to the highlands and joining MCVG in 2024.  She has a background in wildlife rehabilitation which has led to a particular interest in birds, and the completion of advanced programmes in vet nursing of avian species and small mammals. 

Outside of work Alex enjoys spending time in the garden and exploring Scotland with her 2 chihuahuas.
